Sports Massage – It is designed to help athletes reach their peak performance, by assisting in their recovery, preventing injuries, and facilitating the healing processes after injuries. Utilizing techniques similar to Swedish and Therapeutic Massage, it adapts to the athlete’s current needs. Come and relax in our San Luis Obispo massage studio.
Deep Tissue Massage – A firm-pressure therapeutic massage which helps alleviate pain, muscle spasms, stress, inflammation and tissue damage. This also restores proper range of motion and revives elasticity. It includes the use of hot stones to help relax muscles and increase blood flow.
Swedish Massage – This massage therapy promotes relaxation by increasing the flow of oxygen in the blood and releasing toxins from the muscles. It includes a combination of long flowing strokes, friction, and light to deep pressure. Hot stones are also used to help relax muscles and increase blood flow. It’s a popular treatment in our San Luis Obispo massage studio.
Hot Stone Massage – Heat from warmed stones are used to relieve tense muscles and sore joints. Combined with Swedish techniques, hot stones help the connective tissue to soften quickly, so the deeper muscles can be reached.
Prenatal Massage – Prenatal massage focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be. While providing emotional support and a nurturing touch, it allows relaxation by relieving stress on joints, easing neck and back pain, and promoting good posture.
